Animation

Animation is implemented as part of Tomas itself. It makes use of a freeware component GMP. Additionally methods are added to manually program "animation". These methods are attributes of the "TomasShape" class, a descendant class of TomasElement.

The methods are divided in 5 groups. They represent:

  1. Position(x,y,z) and orientation data
  2. Presentation formats (rendering, coloring)
  3. Modeling movements (straight lines, curves)
  4. Creating the shape from standard shapes or input data
  5. Combining movements with other shapes.
